Bad News For Me

Well, I ride at a little stable not that far from my house. Today at my weekly lesson I found out that some rumors that I have been hearing are actually true. About a month ago my friend who works at the stable (and is in my weekly lesson) heard from some of the staff that there are plans to build a road straight through the stable. People came that day to spray where the water and power lines are and that stuff. I didn't exactly know what to think. So, today, when I walk up to the stable I see a plan tacked up on the bulletin board with markings about where they are going to construct the road. Oh, and now a pool too. Even though it might not happen for a few years I'm pretty pissed off. I know that the people who are planning to do this own the land, but just because they have the legal right to do this doesn't give them the moral right to. I'm actually not that surprised that these stupid people would do this. Whatever. I hope someone reads this.
